Our CSR Activities & Awards

Our CSR Activities

Since Beyond Boundaries Co., Ltd. is committed to sustainable, responsible business, we are always seeking for the opportunities to involve actively in a wide range of programmes so as to invest back into the community and environment in which we operate.

We are currently running Walking tours under the name “Yangon Walks”, the project started in the beginning of 2018 with aim to help junior guides to get easy access to the job opportunities while the tourism business of Myanmar is down due to international pressure on the crisis on Rakhine border region issue, while at the same time reducing air pollution in the most congested downtown area. We bought this walking tour business from an Australian guy who started the Yangon Walk in around 2015 and then return to Australia.

We spare 1% of income from Beyond Boundaries Myanmar and 10% of income from Yangon Walks to social enterprises and environmental initiative organisations.

Our Donations

Our Donations to a restaurant named Linkage which is helping children from remote Kachin State, Shan States, other area around the country and also street kids by providing vocational training in catering and culinary industry and also by supporting those who want to continue their education. And also we have donated one time to Clean Yangon who is actively working on the clean environment of Yangon City.

Our Environmental Activities

Our team has been also participating in the CSR activities of Union of Myanmar Association whenever given a chance.

Our Achievement

We are awarded runner up award at the Myanmar responsible tourism award 2018 competition and are recently recognized as Travelife Partner by Travelife.info based on our sustainability report and compliance with basic requirements assessed.  We hope to be able to do more responsible activities to support the communities and save the environment in the sustainable way in the future with the help and support of these two organisations and our customers.
