Food in Myanmar

Rice Noodle Salad

In Mandalay, Rice noodle salad, “Nanlat Thote” ,is a very popular breakfast food. Three size of noodles are used in this salad; small, medium or big. Now I am using middle size noodle in this article. Gravy which includes oil, chili powder and onion mix with meat is the main ingredient of this salad. Fish ball can use instead of meat.

Rakhine style Chicken curry

I choose Rakhine traditional chicken curry for this week. It doesn′t need oil, garlic and onion. Main ingredients are fish or shrimp paste, green chili and tamarind juice. Better serve with white rice and also can drink as soup. If you have a chance, let try for once.
