In Myanmar word “Ah Thote” means similar to salad in English but not exactly the same. There are very various kinds of “Ah Thote” in Myanmar which are prepare from vegetable leave, fruits, meats, fish etc., Pennywort Salad is make from medicinal plant call Pennywort. This salad can served as appetizer or even as snack.

Tar-La-Baw (Kayin Traditional Curry)

This dish is a special one. One of a traditional cooking of Kayin race, vegetable soup (Ta La Baw) is very famous and represent Kayin race. This dish is not easily found in restaurant and can’t easily get. But don’t worry Kayin people live all part of Myanmar.
