International Billiards and Snooker Championship 2018

International Billiards and Snooker Federation (IBSF) is happy to announce that Myanmar Billiards & Snooker Federation (MBSF) will now be hosting the 2018 IBSF World Billiards & World Snooker Championships in Myanmar. The event will be held at the Grand Mercure Hotel, Yangon, Myanmar. Dates for World Billiards are November 12th-18th, 2018.
        World Snooker dates are November 19th-27th, 2018. Entry for the championships have already started and Member Countries can enter their players’ names and details on IBSF Online Entry System using their login credentials. Closing date for entries is October 28th, 2018. For Billiards each country can enter 4 players to each event.
        For Snooker each country can enter 3 players in the men’s, 3 players in the master’s and 4 players in the women’s championships. Each region is allowed to send the winner of their regional championship. Entry fee for the competition is $70.00 per player per championship. The fee must be paid to the IBSF Treasurer before the start of championships.
        20 International Referees from outside Myanmar are invited to participate. The number of referees allocated for each IBSF Region are two from Africa, one from America, eight from Asia, seven from Europe, and two from Oceania.
        Nominations of referees must be sent to the regional referee associations before September 2nd, 2018. International referees will receive a subsidy of $400 from the IBSF.
        World Billiards long up minimum prize fund $8,000.00
        World Billiards 150 up minimum prize fund $8,000.00
        Women’s Championship minimum prize fund $6,000.00
        Championship Highest Break $200 and Certificate
        Men’s Championship minimum prize fund $16,000.00
        Championship Highest Break $500 and Certificate
        Master’s Championship minimum prize fund $8,000.00
        Championship Highest Break $300 and Certificate
